BATANGAS CITY – Through the Port of Batangas, the Bureau of Customs donated 21 boxes of assorted academic books for preschool and high school to the Provincial Government of Batangas recently.
Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas expressed gratitude to Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, who was represented by Batangas District Collector Ma. Rhea Gregorio, during the flag-raising ceremonies at the Provincial Capitol.
Mandanas said the books donation, which would benefit students, are "essential additions to the Batangas Library."
