The Bureau of Customs-Intelligence Group (BOC-IG) held its 4th Quarter Command Conference to discuss IG’s accomplishments this year, share best practices, and set targets, plans, and programs for 2024.
Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, represented by Deputy Commissioner of IG Juvymax Uy, underscored in his message the significant contributions of IG to the overall achievements of the Bureau and acknowledging the efforts of the group in effectively combating smuggling and other forms of customs fraud.
Employees who showed outstanding dedication in their jobs were also awarded at the conference.
Rubio also congratulated Deputy Commissioner Uy for his exemplary leadership that led the IG to achieve pivotal milestones that were very beneficial to the growth of the Bureau.
