Jack Animam’s double-double streak was put into halt as she was held to single digit scoring against Vojvodina.

For the first time, Jack Animam was held to single digits in her team Radnicki Kragujevac’s loss to Vojvodina 021, 48-65, in the ongoing Women's Basketball League of Serbia being held at the SBB Hala Jezero.

The 6-foot-3 Filipina center has been averaging 23.6 points, 15.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks in her first 5 games.

But in this game, Animam was kept in check by Vojvodina which caused her to only produce nine points on 2-of-7 shooting.

She tried to help out her team with her defense as she put up 13 boards, one assist, one steal, and two blocks in the 35 minutes she played.

The loss dropped Radnicki to 3-3 to mark the first time this season that Animam was unable to display a double-double production. Vojvodina, meanwhile, improved to 5-1 for a solid hold of the second spot.

Radnicki was able to keep up with Vojvodina in the first half and trailed by only five points, 26-31, at the halftime break. Vojvodina, though, pulled away in the third quarter with a 21-7 blast to seize its biggest lead of 19 points at 52-33 and never looked back.

Leading Vojvodina was Sara Loomis who paced their scoring 15 points and nine rebounds while Jovana Jovovic added 15 points and six boards.

The loss also halts the two game winning streak of Radnicki. The team really struggled to produce points as Marija Stojanovic, who led Radnicki in scoring, only tallied 11 points while Andrea Glomazic had nine points and six rebounds.

The loss drops Radnicki to rank 6 in the tournament with a 3-3 record. Animam and her team will try to regroup for their next game on November 7 when they take on Student Nis.
