Smart Telecom is cashing in on the continued popularity of global KPop sensation BTS as it taps the group to become their newest endorsers noting that the group won over the hearts of millions all over the world not just with their talent, but also with their messages of hope and inspiration.

With their campaign, they hope to encourage the country’s youth to keep the faith and continue pursuing their passion and purpose regardless of the challenges that lie ahead

SMART Communications just unveiled BTS as its new brand ambassadors representing their campaign called “Live Smarter, Live with Purpose.”

The telecom company released a new video of the South Korean sensation dancing to their hit song “Dynamite,” featuring different inspirational messages chosen by Smart throughout the video.

BTS, composed of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, has been carrying out the message of self-love through their music, and their message supports that of Smart’s campaign, making them the perfect ambassadors.

According to Smart SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business Jane Basas, “BTS won over the hearts of millions all over the world not just with their talent, but also with their messages of hope and inspiration.”

With their campaign, they hope to encourage the country’s youth to keep the faith and continue pursuing their passion and purpose regardless of the challenges that lie ahead.

In a recorded message released by Smart, BTS had a message to their Filipino “Army,” or their legion of fans.

Park Jimin shared that his passion currently comes from longing for performing on stage and wanting to do music.

His reason and purpose for doing so is “Army.” V, one of their vocalists, added that he wanted to give encouragement and healing to “Army” through their music.

The group’s leader, RM, said in the video that the group’s passion and purpose is to encourage and inspire others through music and dancing.

Their lead dancer, j-hope, encapsulated all that they wanted to say, saying that one’s purpose becomes the reason for life, and it’ll become one’s driving force. He ended by saying once you know your purpose, it is easier to enjoy life.

Following the pre-recorded message, they premiered a TV commercial for Smart Prepaid which was shot in Seoul. In the new commercial, their songs “Life Goes On” and record-breaking Grammy-nominated single “Dynamite” were played.

In the commercial, the seven members walk up and down several versions of the optical illusion of the Penrose Stairs. The concept symbolizes defying impossible situations, which again, is aligned with the Smart Campaign.

The telecom giant told fans to expect more videos coming from BTS, along with special photo cards to be given along with the company’s prepaid sim and load cards.(MO)
