Tacloban-rooted Maja Salvador ties the knot with Rambo Nuñez

Before we get to the wedding narrative of Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez, let us present the family tree of the newly-wed star as ex-killer wife in ABS-CBN’s “Wildflower” some years back.

Maja’s grandfather, the grand old man of show business, Lou Salvador, Sr. was born in Tacloban City in Leyte.

Late actor Ross Rival, Rosauro Reyes Salvador in real life, was Maja’s dad.

It is therefore, right and wise to say that his descendants, Maja included, are running Waraynon blood in their veins such as Phillip Salvador, Deborah Sun, Ramon Salvador, Jobelle Salvador, among the living and the late Alona Alegre, Mina Aragon, Leroy Salvador, among others.

It is in this context that we situate Maja as a Taclobanon.

In Romantic Bali

The Tacloban-rooted actress recently tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Rambo Nuñez at the poetic scenery of Bali, Indonesia.

According to photographer Pat Dy who covered the whole proceedings of the Salvador-Nuñez nuptials, the event was a dream wedding for anyone who would want his or her walking down the aisle to be an ideal union between two people not only of body but soul as well.

Lensman Pat said that after the wedding, it was a memorable part of Maja’s life. “And they are one,” noted Dy in his Instagram posts where he displayed in cyber the many enthralling scenes of the love that bound Maja and Rambo.

We hope Taclobanons and Waraynons are proud of the milestones in their kababayan’s personal and professional endeavors for Maja is an actress of high caliber. And now that she is married to a successful businessman in Rambo, her town and city mates are joining in her journey of matrimonial joy.

Celebrity Guests

Among the guests that flew to Bali from the Philippines were Rayver Cruz, Richard Gutierrez, John Lloyd Cruz, Kakai Bautista, MJ Lastimosa, Sarah Lahbati, Carlo Katigbak of ABS-CBN and other big shots in the film and television industries.

Before the wedding day, Maja and Rambo treated their guests with an eve party where food and drinks flowed like the natural kindness of the couple.

According to entertainment writer Art Tapalla, even the newly-weds Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde went straight to Bali from their wedding reception in Baguio City.
