Following the success of their latest single, P-Pop boy group SB19 announced that they will be releasing the second song of “Ikalawang Yugto.”
FOLLOWING the success of their latest single “What?”, SB19 announced that they will be releasing the second song of their Ikalawang Yugto.
On their social media account last Monday, the P-Pop group shared a poster that featured the Earth, with their logo and the release date in the middle. Called ‘MAPA’, the song will be out on May 16, at 7PM Philippine Standard Time, with a music showcase to follow on May 18.
Their tweet had the hashtags #SB19IkalawangYugto and #SB19Saan which, as of writing, are the top trending topics on Philippine Twitter with over 75,000 tweets combined.
Their Facebook post, meanwhile, has reached over 21,000 reactions, 4,000 shares, and 4,000 comments from excited fans who are making their own guesses to the title.
A week before the new song announcement, SB19 was included in the nominees for the Top Social Artist category for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
SB19 has made history once again as they became the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated on the Billboard Music Awards for the category of Top Social Artist.

SB19 became the first Filipino boy group to debut on Billboard’s Social 50 chart way back in December 2019. They are considered a Top Social Artist finalist along with big stars and idols such as BTS, BLACKPINK, Ariana Grande, and Seventeen.
Being nominated alone is already a huge achievement but SB19 made it extra special by always keeping their feet on the ground and acknowledging the endless efforts of their fans called A’TIN.
“We are so grateful for your love and support. We wouldn’t have come this far without all of you. A’TIN ‘TO,” the group wrote on their accounts to thank their fans.
