According to recruitment consultant and migration expert Emmanuel Geslani, the recruitment drive is part of the airline's global operations this year as the airline industry slowly moves toward recovery.
Geslani said Qatar Airways needs at least 200 female flight attendants, and lounge and contact center staff for the group's Customer Experience Department.
The airline recruitment was announced by Industrial Personnel, Administrative Management Services (IPAMs), the Philippine Overseas Employment Administrations' Presidential Multi-Awardee recruitment agency on their website on Tuesday.

Geslani added that many international airlines have started adding flights to their schedules requiring additional personnel and recruitment for Filipina flight attendants who are mostly preferred by some international airlines for their beauty and English speaking skills.
In the United States major airlines, United, Delta and American Airlines have cancelled many flights due to the lack of personnel as the pandemic decreased the number of pilots and flight attendants.
"This will be the first face-to-face interviews by Qatar Airways since 2018 and hundreds if not thousands of Filipinas seeking work on an international airline are expected to converge at the Peninsula Hotel starting on Monday, April 18, 2022," Geslani said.
He said IPAMS management have also started to recall 117 flight attendants who were retrenched by Qatar Airways during the pandemic years of 2020-2021.
Applicants are advised to submit their CVs from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the designated function room of Peninsula Hotel.
