Another round of hefty fuel price rollback

Filipino motorists will rejoice over another round of fuel price rollbacks this week beginning tomorrow Tuesday.

This week, motorists may expect to more cuts in fuel prices as another round of rollbacks was announced by the oil industry beginning tomorrow (Tuesday).

In a statement, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. announced price reductions for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene per liter of P2.10, P2.20, and P2.55, respectively.

The same changes will be applied by Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz, with the exception of kerosene as they don't carry it.

The modifications will go into effect at 6 a.m. except for Cleanfuel, which will change pricing at 8:01 a.m. same day.

Other firms have yet to announce similar changes for the week.

The DoE's latest figures on fuel price rollbacks showed that as of August 2, the total amount of reduction reachedP19.65 per liter for gasoline, P32.35 per liter for diesel, and P27.30 per liter for kerosene.
