Members of the progressive farmers' group Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP), joined by Anakpawis and other land-reform groups, staged a rally in front of the Department of Agriculture Thursday (June 10).
They urged the government to stop land conversion, reducing tariffs on imported agricultural products, and other policies that they claimed burden farmers already suffering due to the Covid-19 pandemic. (DQ)
