SAVE for Taal’s recent nasty activity considered as a temporary setback, there is already good healthy signs of economic recovery and re-employment opportunities for people in the province.

Resorts are slowly getting filled with customers, and so are restaurants although limited in capacity inside and outside or al fresco.

Churches have slowly opened their doors too like the national shrine and pilgrimage site Padre Pio church in Sto. Tomas City, the historic Simbahang Bato of Laurel and many more.

We cannot put them down all here owing to limited space but all these points to one thing: these are good, vital signs of veritable economic recovery for the province, and perhaps, nationwide amid the pandemic.

Relatively, vaccination rollout in each and every local government unit of Batangas shifted to high gear and looking forward to scheduling now the A4 and A5 categories and so on.

Lawmakers nailed it as they say vaccines would greatly help in bringing national and local economy back to life.

Vaccines are considered as one of the keys that would boost economy and confidence in people doing business.

Vaccination cards or certificates also pose to become a new passport in going around in the new normal.

Batangas resort owners are slowly opening up their businesses.

They are but requiring patrons to show a copy of their health certificates although vaccination certificates are more preferred. Health protocols must also be followed down to the letter.

Be that as it may, minimum health standards, are enforced at all times for everyone even to people with complete anti-Covid vaccines, and as one condition for accommodation at villas, hotels and resorts.

As health officials say, jabs are no guaranty from not getting the virus.

So, minimum health protocols must still be followed down to the letter as one way of helping others from not getting it.
