Ice Seguerra’s Dad Wears Shades In Travel To Eternity

These days mark the darkest in the colorful life of Ice Seguerra, formerly known as Aiza Seguerra.

It’s because of the demise of his beloved dad, Decoroso Seguerra, more known as Dick Seguerra.

Although Ice has been bravely bracing the tragedy in the family, it’s not easy for him to let go the golden memories of his relationship with his father.

Fond Memories

“My fondest memories of him? Parang lahat naman, my fondest memories of him. Lahat ay masasaya ang memories ko sa kanya. Hanggang ngayon, masasaya pa rin (It seems all are my fondest memories of him. All my memories of him are happy. Even up to now, they remain happy memories),” said Ice on Friday, the last night of Dick’s wake at the St. Peter’s Chapel in Quezon Avenue.

His dad, Ice said, died at home. He was at the deathbed of Dick and although it was a painful moment, he was able to console himself because of the happy memories he shared with him in his lifetime.

Dick, with his wife Caring Seguerra, was living in a unit separately from Ice’s in the same condo building.

Fashionable To A Tee

Paying our last respects and glances at Dick, he was wearing shades so we asked Ice what gives.

“Kasi, si Daddy, talaga namang maporma ‘yan. Di ‘yan nahuhuli sa uso (It’s because, you know, Daddy was really always in his usual form. He was truly fashionable).

“Pansinin mo lahat ang mga pictures namin with him, di ba, maporma na talaga siya (If you notice all our photos with him, wasn’t he indeed fashionable?),” informed Ice.

Dick was cremated last Saturday and for the moment, his ashes would be with Mom Caring.
