Since the news of the 2019 novel coronavirus outbreak in late January, people had been hoarding alcohol, sanitizers, toilet papers, and other necessities, to include Vitamin C.

In Sierra Madre St. in Mandaluyong City, these individuals swarm around a fruit vendor defying the general public orders on social distancing just to get their hands on the fruits. (photo by Benjamin Cuaresma)
