Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno receives a memento for Kawangis of Gat Andres Bonifacio from NCRPO P/Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas while District Director Brig. Gen. Bernabe Balba and MPD officers look on during the 119th Anniversary of the Manila Police District earlier today (January 29) at the MPD quadrangle. A Trooping The Lane rites was also held. Bonifacio is a Filipino revolutionary born in Tondo, Manila in 1863 who appointed generals to lead the rebel forces of Manila against the Spanish colonizers. Moreno thanked the Manila police for their persistence in maintaining peace and order in the city.
